Lying here unable to sleep dunno why…. and I think of this blog and installing wordpress on my phone. The problem of lying here bored is solved.
It isn’t too bad writing this on a phone keyboard, I installed SwiftKey Flow and it definitely makes typing large amounts of text on a phone a breeze, go and check it out.
Do what’s been going on here? Well I finally got my green card and social security number etc sorted in September and started working at a Halloween store…. yep they have superstores just for Halloween here! It was good fun and they promoted me to assistant manager which added some extra interest.
Of course come November 1st I was facing unemployment and I managed to score myself a gig in best buy (an electronics superstore) selling computers and tablets. It’s been great fun so far although I’m not sure if I’ll have a job after the new year, fingers crossed!
Nothing much else had really been going on, we’re all set for Christmas and I had the most amazing eggnog ice cream yesterday, if you have the chance you must visit oberweiss!
We’re really excited about Mike, Nic and Olivia visiting in March. It’s going to be a lot of fun doing the tourist thing with them and being able to spend some serious time with good friends.
I hoped I would be tired by now…. oh well.
