I’m sure this will be one of thousands of tributes to this wonderful and brave man. For those of you who don’t know “Ivan Noble (BBC writer Ivan Noble dies at 37)”:http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4193093.stm lost his fight with cancer yesterday after a two year battle.
Ivan was a BBC science and technology journalist before his diagnosis. Remarkably he resolved to keep a diary of his experiences. He was a shining beacon of inspiration and I laughed and cried at his columns. He fought bravely and had some terrible set backs (e.g. a remission that barely lasted weeks) that would have destroyed lesser men. He continued on in hope and refused to give in to fear.
He leaves a wife and two young children. Rest easy Ivan.
